Cheryl Jordan has been a member of Grace Notes since 2000. She has a bachelor’s degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. Her flute teachers include Janet Stodd, Catherine Dorr, Carol Neulieb and Walter Haedrich. She has performed often with the Quad City Wind Ensemble, Quad City Flutes Unlimited, and Elil Recorder Consort and is a member of the Quad City Flute Association. In 1994 she was a performer at the National Flute Association Convention with the Wind Sounds Flute Quartet. She currently resides in Moline where she keeps a private teaching studio.
Karen McClintock has been a member of Grace Notes since 2000. She has a B.A. degree from the University of Northern Iowa. Karen has studied with Walter Haedrich, Janet Stodd, Tena Hess and Claudia Anderson. She has auditioned and been selected to perform in the Professional Flute Choir at nine National Flute Association Conventions, specializing on flute, alto and bass flutes. Other musical groups include the Colorado Silver Winds Flute Orchestra, Sterling Municipal Band, Quad City Wind Ensemble, QC Music Guild, QC Flutes Unlimited, and Joyful Harmonies Flute & Violin. Karen arranges many selections for Grace Notes Flute Quartet and maintains a private teaching studio in the Quad City area. She is also the Membership Coordinator and Treasurer of the Quad City Flute Association. Karen lives in Long Grove with her husband Don.
Crystal Duffee joined Grace Notes in 2005. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL. Her flute teachers include Deb Schreiner, Carol Neulieb, Peter Middleton, and Claudia Anderson. She has performed in many local organizations, including Quad City Wind Ensemble, Clinton Symphony Orchestra (piccolo), Muscatine Symphony Orchestra, Sterling Municipal Band, Quad City Flutes Unlimited, Josh Duffee and His Orchestra (1920's jazz), and Circa 21. She maintains a private teaching studio and is frequently requested as an adjudicator and clinician in Iowa and Illinois. Crystal lives in Davenport with her husband Josh, and their son Chauncey.
Lynne Stukart joined Grace Notes in 2010. She holds a Masters of Music in Performance from the University of Akron, where she was a Graduate Teaching Assistant and studied with George Pope. She also received a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Music from Augustana College. Lynne has performed throughout the United States and Europe and has been a winner in several competitions. She has performed as Principle Flute with the Akron Lyric Opera, Handel Oratorio Society, and Summit Choral Society, and has also been a soloist and presenter for the Children’s Concert Society of Akron. She has appeared with the Akron Symphony Orchestra, Canton Civic Opera, Quad City Opera Orchestra, Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, Knox-Galesburg Symphony, and the Quad City Symphony Orchestra. Lynne has studied with Walter Haedrich, Walfrid Kujala, Peter Lloyd, George Pope and Amy Porter, and has performed in masterclasses with Julius Baker, Jeanne Baxtresser, Jacques Zoon, Gerald Carey, Susan Milan and Jeff Zook. Lynne has taught at various schools throughout the mid-west, including Augustana College and The University of Akron. She maintains a private teaching studio and is a frequent judge for competitions. Lynne is also the President of the Quad City Flute Association. She lives in the Quad Cities with her husband John.
